ONE ACT FESTIVAL
CALL FOR DIRECTORS
Gather Repertory Theatre is seeking directors for its One Act Festival.
Gather will work with Directors to select a play either from our pool of chosen plays or as proposed by the director. Plays will be no shorter than 10 minutes and no longer than 1 hour.
Auditions for actors will be held on April 8th and Callbacks on April 10th. Directors must be present for both auditions and callbacks.
Auditions, Callbacks, rehearsals and performances will take place at the Chehalem Cultural Center in Newberg. Performances will be in the LaJoie Theatre.
Performances: June 5-7 at 7:30pm, June 8th at 2:00pm
Dress Rehearsals: June 2-4
Tech Week: May 26-30
Auditions: April 8th
Callbacks: April 10th
Rehearsals start: Week of May 5th. Rehearsals will be held Monday-Friday during the 6:30-10pm window. Exact rehearsal length and frequency will vary and be determined based on the needs and length of each play.
Directors will be paid on a scale of $250 to $1,000 depending on the length of the play.
