JeanneAnn Comiskey
JeanneAnn Comiskey (she/her) is the Artistic Director of Gather Repertory. She completed her bachelor's degree in theatre at George Fox University and has Portland-area theatre credits at companies including Third Rail Repertory Theatre, Penguin Productions, Portland Experimental Theatre Ensemble, and Profile Theatre. She has taught theatre as an adjunct professor at George Fox, as a high school theatre teacher, and through local youth classes. She is currently the Community Engagement Coordinator at The Chehalem Cultural Center in Newberg.
Brendan Comiskey
Brendan Comiskey (he/him) is a writer, a playwright, and a poet. He graduated from George Fox University with a bachelors in English and Communication (19’) and went on to complete a Master of Arts in Teaching the following year (20’). He is the resident dramaturg of Gather Repertory, and currently works as the Rentals Coordinator at Newberg’s Chehalem Cultural Center. He is grateful to be a part of this new venture and is excited to share with the community stories that bring light and recognition to those who may otherwise be left behind.
Cora Beeman
Cora Beeman (she/they) is a company member and Gather Repertory’s resident sound designer. Cora graduated from George Fox University in 2019 with a degree in Theatre Design/Tech and Acting/Directing. Since then, she has worked in the greater Portland area including assistant sound designing for PETE's Cherry Orchard as well as sound designing for Theatre Berk's Professor Jekyll and Ms. Hyde. Her passion for sound design didn't come until her work as the sound designer for GFU's The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime in the spring of 2019, since then she hasn't wanted to stop. Cora is so grateful to be a part of this company with some of her dearest friends in her college town and can't wait for everyone to experience the beautiful work of Gather Repertory.
